Theatre Factory is currently supporting two Barrow Primary schools with free after school drama clubs: St George's C of E Primary on Wednesdays and Sacred Heart Catholic Primary on Thursdays.
If you have a child at either school who would like to join please contact your child's class teacher. Everyone is welcome.
Children who thought drama just wouldn't be 'for them' ended up loving it!
I could see social skills developing in just 1 session
Tiddlers is an interactive theatre project for early years children and their families in partnership with The Dock Museum. Come and meet the Viking lady and her pet wolf, the giant doggy, the old fishermen and help the noisy seagulls to find their chips.
It is a free activity and for details of the dates and times please follow this link to the Dock Museum's website
There is such a buzz in the museum during the sessions, and feedback from families has been so positive
My son loved all the interactive activities and it’s great for his confidence to meet new children
Theatre Factory's Visual Artists are busy making banners with community groups. The banners are really stories of Barrow told in fabric.
If you run a community group that would like to create a banner please get in touch with Karen
