Live and Loud is a series of performances in the community made by local people working with our team of theatre makers. Live and Loud shows tell local, real life stories that are seldom heard. The first of the series is The Unseen Child created with Furness Young Carers.

Stories of Us are story-making workshops for groups in the community. They are an opportunity for groups to start the process of making a play: imagining, story telling, devising and scripting.

Over the next 2 years the company will be hosting a series of events in local neighbourhoods aimed at getting people together. This year the events will be in Hindpool and Central wards.
First up is Queer 4 U - LGBTQ Cabaret at Barrow Library on 30th September. It’s open to everyone and features marvellous entertaining acts in a relaxed, welcoming, friendly and safe environment. It’s FREE with a bar and food and open to all
This is a collaboration with our friends at Art Gene and Barrow Borough Council which is inspired by people’s memories of Duke Street. It is part of the celebrations around the refurbishment of Duke Street.
Follow the Money is a show based on the memories of women who were the frontline workforce of Barrow’s banks . . . the ladies who stamped the cheques, counted the cash and kept the wheels of industry turning from the 1960’s to the 1990’s.
